Hello. So I know I'm really bad at keeping up with my blog and posting new things, but I am really good at keeping up with other people's blogs and finding new inspiration blogs. So I just wanted to list off some of the new ones I am following. They are a mixture of style and home design. Just Gotta Dance!
Last Friday we had some people over for Bible Talk and Wings Over which went well! We had 2 visitors (props to Kachi) and had just enough to feed everyone some DEEEElicious honey bbq wings.
It's become a tradition when the guys in my family group come over to play a little "Just Dance" on the Wii. My first attempt to get the video of them failed miserably, as I deleted them ALLLL off my phone. It was a horrible and awful moment in my life... those were priceless videos. BUT!! We made Chris and Chris do it again, and needless to say, they had just as much this time around as they did the first try. I promised them I wouldn't put the video on Youtube or Facebook, but I knew I had to get it up online somehow... hehe
We also knew we had to get Frankie to do a number for us because he's a funny guy and we love anything Frankie does. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did!

The WaWa Project
Hey guys! I've just recently started to follow the blog of The WaWa Project.
The goal of the WaWa Project is to build an environmentally friendly, sustainable boarding school in Ghana for people with disabilities. Currently, they are beginning to talk with different foundations and look into grant funding to be able to enter the first phase of their project. Out With The Old And In With the New
Out with the old... idea... and in with the new... idea... :) I have been dwelling on the idea of redoing my room yellows and greys for too long, and kind of got tired from it, and started to miss the red in my room. However, I still want to redo my room a little more upbeat, happy, spring-like. I found this throw pillow on Etsy and fell in love with all the colors.
I love that I can still incorperate the yellow things I've already bought, the red I currently own, and the turqoise flower knobs I've already purchased.
I've also been trying to figure out what color to paint my large dresser!! It's been killing me because it's a pretty big piece of furniture in my small room and I don't want it to over power anything and I also don't want it to be the wrong color. I am going to attempt to bring it out on my porch, through my bedroom window, and paint it out there. I know I can take the individual drawers out, but I don't know if I can take the base out. One, it's too heavy, and two, it may be too big to fit through. So suggestions will be helpful.
But anyway, what color to paint it... I was watching PS. I Love You with Hillary Swank and Gerard Butler on Sunday.
It is a very sad movie but I love love love the love story behind it all and how Gerard's character thought out this whole elaborate plan to send his wife letters after he passed away to help her get over his death. It's definitely a chick-flick worth seeing.
In the movie, Hillary and Gerard's charachter's have a dresser in their apartment that looked just like the pillows I just bought on Etsy...
Now I know what I'm going to do when I paint my dresser!!! I just have to wait for the warm weather to start painting... Eeek! I'm so excited.
